Nur ul Ilm Academy, Islamabad, combines modern learning tools with the timeless teachings of Islam. Arooj Akram Gill
Arooj Akram has graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (BS-IT). She completed a diploma in Computer Languages, specializing in C and C++. She also completed the Alimiyah Program at Nur ul Ilm Academy in Australia.
Alia Malik
Alia Malik holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in English Literature. Before pursuing Islamic studies, she worked as an elementary school teacher and volunteered at a charity school. She completed the Alimiyyah program at Nur ul Ilm Academy in 2021.In addition to managing educational programs, Alia currently teaches Tafseer, Hadith, Shariah Law, Seerah, and Life Management at Nur ul Ilm Academy in Islamabad. She also conducts engaging classes for both youth and young children and has delivered motivational talks at several colleges across Islamabad.
Ayesha Pasha
Ayesha Pasha holds a master’s degree in English Literature. Alongside pursuing her Aalimah degree from NUI Academy, she gives lessons in moral development to children at NUI Kahf – Nur ilm academy Islamabad children’s program.
Ambreen Saleem
Ambreen Saleem holds an MBA in Finance from the Imperial College of Business Studies, Lahore. She completed the Alimiyyah program at Nur ul Ilm Academy, Australia, in 2022. She is currently managing multiple responsibilities at NUI Academy Islamabad and teaches children in the NUI Kahf – NUI Academy’s children’s program.
Arooba Yaseen
Arooba Yaseen holds a BSc (Hons.) in Human Nutrition & Dietetics and a certification in Clinical Nutrition from Shifa International Hospital. She is currently working at Nur ul Ilm Academy as an Admin and is also a member of the Design Team.

Faiza Fayaz
Faiza Fayaz completed her Alima program in Dubai from Nur ul Ilm Academy Australia. She is a graduate in the subjects of Education and Sociology. Faiza has served as Operations Manager for “Out of School Children’s School” and worked as a Learning Experience Designer for Taleemabad.
Hira Sher
Hira Sher holds an MS degree in Management Sciences, with a specialization in Finance. She graduated from Nur ul Ilm Academy, Australia, with an Ālimah degree in Arabic and Sharī‘ah Law in 2019, and recently completed Takhassus fil-Qur’an with distinction in 2025 from the same institution. She has taught Qur’an Tafsīr, Hadith, and Sharī‘ah Law in Peshawar and has delivered numerous Islamic workshops and lectures at various universities. She is currently teaching Arabic courses at the Nur ul Ilm Academy campus in Islamabad.
Dr. Madiha Sher
Dr. Madiha Sher holds a Master’s and PhD in Computer Systems Engineering. She completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Engineering with distinction. Currently, she serves as a Lecturer at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Peshawar, and works as an AI Researcher at the National Center in Big Data and Cloud Computing (NCBC), contributing to various cutting-edge projects. In addition to her academic and technical accomplishments, Dr. Madiha Sher completed the Ālimah program with distinction in Arabic and Sharī‘ah Law from Nur ul Ilm Academy, Australia, in 2019. She taught Arabic courses in Peshawar until 2023 and is currently teaching at the Nur ul Ilm campus in Islamabad.
Reem Abbasi
Reem Abbasi has completed her Alimiyyah program with Nur ul Ilm Academy. Alongside managing events, she teaches Qur’an Tafseer, Seerah, and Shariah Law at Nur ul Ilm Academy in Islamabad. She also holds a certification in Islamic Psychology and Counselling. She leads the NUI Hubb youth program and has delivered numerous sessions and workshops focused on youth development. Reem is also a certified Jewelry Professional (GIA), runs her own designer jewellery brand, and previously served as President of the Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She remains actively involved in humanitarian efforts across Pakistan.
Saima Arshad
Saima Arshad is a student of Nur ul Ilm Academy, currently enrolled in the A Scholar’s Journey program. She also supports the Islamabad branch of NUI as a staff member, where she provides operational assistance. She holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration and works with a multinational organization at a senior management level.
